Aaron Hake, a lifelong resident of Corona, serves as the Government Relations Manager for the Riverside County Transportation Commission. Through his work, Aaron leads Riverside County’s advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento to secure a fair share of funding for our region’s critically-needed transportation projects.
Mr. Hake received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from American University in Washington D.C. and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. As a member of the Corona Planning Commission, Aaron got his start in politics at an early age under the mentorship of Riverside County Supervisor John Tavaglione and went on to work in Congress for he National Association of Counties.
In the community, Aaron is a member of the Corona Rotary Club, lead advisor for the Corona-Norco Family YMCA’s Youth & Government program, a program for at-risk youth he built from the ground up, and serves on the boards of the United Way of the Inland Valleys, Greater Riverside Dollars for Scholars, and the Pick Group. Aaron is also a volunteer coach for the award-winning children’s fitness program, The 100 Mile Club.
Aaron Hake has served on the Riverside County Planning Commission and as Corona City Treasurer. His main interests in giving back to the community include promoting civic engagement, especially for youth, and the infrastructure and transportation of the area Aaron and his wife, Lauralynn, had their first child in October.
