Aaron Norris is currently Vice President of The Norris Group, a company that specializes in California hard money lending, trust deed investments, real estate investments, and real estate investor resources.

Mr. Norris is a Riverside native whose background is in the arts; he has been performing since the age of six. He spent his 20s living in New York City and toured the world in various productions. Between “gigs” in New York City is where Aaron found his second love in marketing and PR through working for companies in NYC and LA including investment banking firm Lazard Freres, KTU Radio, MGA Entertainment, Clear Channel Entertainment, and several financial and law firms. Shortly after moving back to Los Angeles, he enrolled and received his MBA from The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. He also started working with the family business in real estate investments and hard money in 2005.

Aaron has worked on several initiatives in Riverside and has been directly involved in raising over $1.5 million with events like The Norris Group’s “I Survived Real Estate,” event as well as being a founding team member for Give BIG Riverside County.

Aaron serves on several local and regional nonprofit boards. He’s the 2015/16 chair of Community Connect and also serves on the Public Relations Society of America Inland Empire and Western District boards, continues his work with Give BIG Riverside County, the Fox Foundation, and the Raincross Group.

Active professional associations include the California Mortgage Bankers Association, Planned Giving Roundtable, the Estate Planning Council, and the Pick Group.

Aaron was named “Volunteer of the Year” in 2012 by The Community Foundation. He has also been recognized by: the International Academy of the Arts with the “Communicator Award of Excellence”(2011), the “Gold Hermes Creative Award” by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (2011), and the “Capella Award: Special Events” by the Public Relations Society of America (2011), amongst others.  As a hardworking community leader, Aaron is passionate about giving back after so many years in the arts

In his spare time, Aaron is co-host and producer of the Webby-nominated Cocktail Party Statement podcast, which reviews marketing, business and strategy books. Aaron can also be seen around Southern California teaching marketing, PR, web 3.0, and social media strategy at colleges and professional associations.
