Mark Rubin is a developer in Riverside and Los Angeles counties and serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Regional Properties Inc. Mr. Rubin began developing property in 1960s and has developed single family homes, commercial, shopping, and office buildings in Mission Grove as well as Downtown Riverside-- including the Citrus Tower. Rubins’ Los Angeles area developments included First Regional Bank which he co-founded in 1979 and where he served as Vice Chairman of the Board.
Mark Rubin has been active in numerous community organizations in both Riverside and Los Angeles including the La Sierra University Foundation board, Riverside’s Downtown Partnership board, the Mission Inn Foundation board, UCR Foundation, the Riverside County Philharmonic, California Riverside Ballet, American Jewish University, Mount St. Mary’s College, and the Cedar Sinai Medical Center.
Mr. Rubin was born in Sabinov, Czechoslovakia. At 7 years old in 1944, his family was imprisoned in a concentration camp, located in what is now the Czech Republic. Mark's family immigrated to the United States in 1948, and he arrived in California in 1953.
